Total RSA Registration as at 31 August 2022
National Pension Commission (PenCom) has disclosed that the total number of Retirement Savings Account (RSA) Registrations as at 31 August 2022 is 9,757,861, this shows an increase of 27,083 for the Month of August 2022 compared to the 9,730,778 as at 31 July 2022.
The 27,083 Retirement Savings Accounts (RSA) registrations for the month of August 2022 is lower than the average 28,770 for June and July 2022 but greater than the 25,025 for May 2022 and 26,234 for April 2022, it is however slightly lower than the average RSA registrations for the past twelve (12) months, which is 27,572.
PenCom only released the total number of RSA Registration as at 31 August 2022 in its monthly report for August 2022, without any breakdown. We look forward to a time when the Regulator, National Pension Commission (PenCom) will release the monthly report for RSA Registrations per Fund, per Pension Fund Administrator (PFA) along with the breakdown based on Age and Gender. This will enable stakeholders and industry analyst measure PFA performance based on RSA registrations per Fund, along age brackets, sector and gender, on monthly basis.
