Total RSA Registration as at 30 April 2022

National Pension Commission (PenCom) has disclosed that the total number of Retirement Savings Account (RSA) Registrations as at 30 April 2022 is 9,648,213, this shows an increase of 26,234 for the Month of April 2022 compared to the 9,621,979 as at 31 March 2022.

The 26,234 Retirement Savings Accounts (RSA) registrations for the month of April 2022 is lower than the 32,258 for March 2022 and 37,225 for the February 2022 and also slightly lower than the average RSA registrations for the past twelve (12) months, which is 26,656.

PenCom only released the total number of RSA Registration as at April 2022 in its monthly report for April, without any breakdown. We look forward to a time when the Regulator, National Pension Commission (PenCom) will release the monthly report for RSA Registrations per Fund, per Pension Fund Administrator (PFA) along with the breakdown based on Age and Gender. This will enable stakeholders and industry analyst measure PFA performance based on RSA registrations per Fund, along age brackets, sector and gender.
