PTAD commends President Buhari over Successes in Pension Administration

Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD), has expressed appreciation to President Muhammadu Buhari, for the successes recorded in pension administration of Defined Benefits Scheme (DBS) in Nigeria.

The Executive Secretary PTAD, Dr. Chioma Ejikeme, expressed appreciation in Calabar during a Stakeholders Engagement Forum organised for pensioners in the South-South Zone of the country.

Dr Ejikeme said President Buhari has prioritized the welfare of pensioners in the country and advised prisoners to engage with contestants at the federal and state level, to know who has an interest in their welfare.

In her goodwill message, the Director General, National Pension Commission (PenCom) represented by the Head, South-South Zonal Office, Mr Michael Ejiofor Eneh commended PTAD for its strides in improving the administration of the Defined Benefit Scheme.

Also speaking at the event, the National Vice President South- South, Nigeria Union of Pensioners, Comrade Benjamin Etta, said the achievements of PTAD has been wonderful. He thanked the President for his commitment to Pensioners welfare adding that the NUP has resolved to honour him.
