Pension Verification Exercise for Retired Federal Judicial Officers and Judiciary Staff
The general public is hereby notified that the National Judicial Council is conducting an online Pension Verification Exercise for retired Federal Judicial Officers and Staff of the Federal Judiciary as defined below via; www.njcpensionverify.ng to update its records.
The dates for the verification exercise are as follows; Monday 17th January 2022 – Friday 25th February 2022.
The affected Judicial Officers and Judiciary Staff are as follows;
- All retired Federal Judicial Officers vide Federal Judicial Officers (Administration of Pensions Act) 2007.
- All retired State Judicial Officers with the Federal Government share of Pensions domiciled with the National Judicial Council.
All retired Judicial Staff that worked in the Federal Government of the First Republic, the Regional Government and the States created in 1967 and worked till march, 31st 1976, and continued with the states created thereafter, whose Pension Administration and payment has been transferred from the office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation to the National Judicial Council in 2007.
NOTE:
Retired Staff of the Judiciary whose names are not currently on the Pension’ pay roll of the National Judicial Council are not included in this exercise, please.
