Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) Parleys Inland Steel Rolling Mills Pensioners on Pension Payments

PTAD met with the union representatives of Inland Rolling Mills of Osogbo, Jos and Katsina on the re-computation of pension benefits in line with the approved pension policy guidelines.

The meeting was organised by PTAD to inform the Union representatives of the outcome of the re-computation exercise and the proposed scheduled payment of pension arrears that may accrue to the steel pensioners.

The discussion included the payments of death benefits to verified Next of Kins (Nok) of the deceased pensioners. PTAD informed the Union that 17 Noks have been paid while computation are in progress for the remaining Noks.

The Union chairman, Oguntuna Benson thanked PTAD management for briefing them on the outcome of the re-computation exercise and future plans.

    We still have many pure federal pensions in southwest that had been screened anodesd cleared by PTD since 2017 and their pension areas not pay till today.pls what is PTD do to pay them,thanks
