PenCom to hold 2019 Journalists’ Workshop in Benin.

National Pension Commission (PenCom), has concluded plans to hold its 2019 Journalist’s Workshop in Benin.

The Workshop themed “Expanding Coverage of the Pension Industry”, is scheduled to hold on Thursday 28th November at the Best Western Homeville Hotel Benin City, Edo State.

According to the Head, Corporate Communication, Mr Peter Agahowa, the workshop is designed to educate invited participants on ways to drive the Micro Pension Plan, expose the level of compliance with contributory pension scheme, understand the enhanced contributor registration system and furthermore highlight the role of social media in Business & Financial reporting.

The pension regime has continued to maximise the potential of the Contributory Pension Scheme, making provision for the establishment of the National Pension Commission and establishing guidelines for the activities of key players within the Pension Industry. The Commission has promised all invited participants a one day interactive and educating workshop.
