PenCom & NECA Interactive Session on CPS
The National Pension Commission (PenCom) and the Nigeria Employers Consultative Association (NECA) announces the 2023 Interactive Sessions on the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) for the Organised Private Sector.
The Interactive Sessions aim at keeping Stakeholders abreast of current developments in the pension industry. The sessions will also provide a platform for participants to deliberate on emerging developments in the administration of the CPS and obtain feedback on the challenges of implementing the Pension Reform Act 2014 (PRA 2014)
The theme of the 2023 Interactive Session is “Empowering Employees for Retirement: Benefits of the Contributory Pension Scheme”. The sub-themes for the event are as follows:
- Overview of the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) under the Pension Reform Act (PRA) 2014
- Ensuring Compliance with the provisions of the PRA 2014: PenCom’s Initiatives and Employers perspective
- Investment of Pension Assets under the PRA 2014 – Safeguards and Fair Returns
- Current Developments in the Nigerian Pension Industry
- Accessing Retirement Benefits under the Contributory Pension Scheme: Issues and Perspectives.
