Ondo State Government to Commit N5bn for Payment of Pension and Gratuity Arrears.

Ondo State Government will commit about N5billion for the payment of pension and gratuity arrears owed the state retired public servants since 2011.

This was disclosed by Mr Dare Aragbaiye, the state Head of Service, on Tuesday in Akure, while addressing newsmen in his office.

According to him, the retired workers now receive their pension at the same time with serving workers in the state, which is a clear departure from what happens previously. Aragbaiye lauded Akeredolu for making the payment of salary and allowances of workers a topmost priority.
