Biggest PFAs & Fastest Growing PFAs by RSA Registrations 30 September 2022
National Pension Commission (PenCom) has disclosed the total number of Retirement Savings Account (RSA) Registrations per Pension Fund Administrator (PFA) from inception of the Contributory Pension Scheme to 30 September 2022.
We have analyzed below;
- PFAs RSA Registrations from inception to 30 September 2022
- PFAs RSA Registrations Growth % December 2021 to 30 September 2022, which shows the fastest growing PFAs by RSA registrations for the period, and
- PFAs net RSA Registrations for January to September 2022.
PFAs RSA Registrations from inception to 30 September 2022
This report revealed that the Top 5 PFAs have over 50% of the RSA clients under the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS). The PFAs, Stanbic IBTC Pension, ARM Pension, Trustfund Pensions, Premium Pensions and Sigma Pensions, have 52.92% of the total RSA Registrations in the pension industry from inception of the Contributory Pension Scheme to 30 September 2022, the percentage held by the Top 5 PFAs has been reduced slightly when compared to the 53.04% the Top 5 PFAs held as at 31 December 2022.
Stanbic IBTC Pensions is by far the largest PFA by RSA registrations from inception to 30 September 2022, with 20.18% (down from 20.21% as at 30 June 2022) followed by ARM Pensions at 9.00% (same as 9.00% as at 30 June 2022) and the PFA with the lowest RSA contributors from inception to 30 September 2022 is Nigerian University Pension Management Company (NUPEMCO) at 0.27% (same as 0.27% as at 30 June 2022) followed by Radix Pension at 0.43% (up from 0.42% as at 30 June 2022).

PFAs RSA Registrations Growth Percentage for 31 December 2021 to 30 September 2022
This report shows the percentage increase in RSA Registrations per PFA between 31 December 2021 to 30 September 2022. This is the best report to rate PFAs’ performance based on RSA Registrations for the period, because it shows the growth in percentage for each PFA, in relation to the total number of their RSA Registrations at the beginning of the period.
The fastest growing PFAs by RSA registrations for the period under review are Radix Pension Managers Limited 10.22%, NPF Pension Fund Managers 6.60%, Nigerian University Pension Management Company 5.17%, Norrenberger Pensions Limited 4.01% and TangerineAPT Pensions Limited 3.92%.
