Biggest PFAs by RSA Registrations December 2020
National Pension Commission (PenCom) has disclosed that the total number of Retirement Savings Account (RSA) Registrations as at 31 December 2020 is 9,215,788, the report also disclosed that the total number of RSA registrations per Pension Fund Administrator (PFA) for the 4th quarter of 2020 and from inception to 31 December 2020.
This revealed that only 5 PFAs have over 50% of the RSA clients under the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS). The PFAs, Stanbic IBTC Pension, ARM Pension, Trustfund Pensions, Sigma Pensions and Premium Pensions, have 53.19% of the total RSA contributors in the industry as at 31 December 2020 compared to the 53.3% the 5 PFAs hold as at 30 September 2020.

Stanbic IBTC Pensions is by far the largest PFA by RSA registrations at 20.16% (down by 0.04 in percentage) followed by ARM Pensions at 8.97% (down by 0.03 in percentage) and the PFA with the lowest RSA contributors is Nigerian University Pension Management Company (NUPEMCO) at 0.25% (up by 0.05 in percentage) followed by Radix Pension at 0.38% (down by 0.02 in percentage).
Below is the total number of RSA registrations for all PFAs in the 4th quarter of 2020 and the RSA registrations from inception to December 2020. The table also shows each PFA’s RSA registration percentage to industry total and the increase or decrease in percentages for Q4 vs Q3 2020.
