Jigawa State disburses N1.084 billion to 530 retirees
Jigawa State government has released the sum of N1.084 billion as terminal benefits to 530 retired civil servants in the state and local government workforce.
Hashim Ahmed Fagam, Executive Secretary of the pension board, disclosed this while flagging-up the payment in the headquarter of the pension board in Dutse, Jigawa State.
According to him, the 530 workers were the staff of state, local government and local government education authority who voluntarily retired, reached retirement age and those who died in active service.
The executive secretary commended the staff of the board for their hard work and dedication to duty and also thanked Governor Badaru Abubakar for his support towards the accomplishments of the Board.
