Senate sends PenCom Executive appointees to Committee
The Senate at the plenary session on 30th September 2020 forwarded the names of the appointees by President Buhari, for Chairman, Director General and Commissioners of the National Pension Commission, to the Committee on Establishment and Public Service Matters.
The publication from the Senate reads;

Confirmation of the Nomination of the following persons for Appointment as Chairman, Director-General and Executive Commissioners for the National Pension Commission.
Senator Abdullahi, Yahaya Abubakar (Kebbi North-Senate Leader)
That the Senate do consider the request of Mr President C-inC on the Confirmation of the Nomination of the following persons for Appointment as Chairman, Director General and Executive Commissioners for the National Pension Commission in accordance with the provisions of Section 19 (3) of the Pension Reform Act, 2014.

Senate rules that the request of Mr. President C-in-C is referred to the Committee on Establishment and Public Service Matters for further legislative action and to report back within two weeks.
